Reflection - Co-create (Issues of cooperation) 7.14

Isaac and I did not use any workshops today as we focused on the discussion of the environmental issue (plastic pollution to the ocean), which only included the material- used plastic items. I was not sure we would use the workshop technique to change the shape of plastic things. It is a simple idea but strongly bonds with reality because the London citizens are experiencing the extreme temperature which causes by global warming. We also thought about the minority, which society or religion ignores, etc., before we settled down on the concept. However, we had different points of view, which were hard to combine, so we finally decided to make a simple theme and similar points of view. We found out that recently everyone has been affected by the unusual weather, so we focused on environmental issues.
We decided to use lighting and hanging item for the way of exhibition. We also distributed the work which each person needed to do. The workload was shared equally as both were satisfied with the distribution result, but it might change during the process. I thought the difficult part of this cooperation is we had different points of view on how to decide on the theme, as he was more focused on the outcome of making the product whilst finding a theme, but I was more focused on setting down a theme before making the product. However, we compromised after the discussion. He coordinated and settled down the theme before starting to make the product, and I took his advice on how he expected the outcome looked like.
The plan for next week is that we need to finish the ocean creatures distributed to ourselves.
